We had a rockin' good time on 50's day celebrating our 50th day of school! How can it already be the 50th day of school?
Fifty awesome days of getting to know your kids better, teaching them, guiding them, and seeing successes every day. It just doesn't get better than that.
We did a lot of fun activities on 50's day to celebrate:
*We counted 50 things.
*We counted to 50 by ones, tens, and fives.
*We made 50 tally marks.
*We discussed how the 50's were different than today.
*We did the twist.
*We tried blowing bubbles with bubble gum.
*We hula-hooped.
*We had root beer floats.
*We had a SOCK HOP dance.
*We tried to hand-jive.
It was a blast!
Here are some pics of us trying to blow bubbles with bubble gum. They tried so hard- and some succeeded! :)
We hula hooped!
Mrs. Minneart was a great hula-hooper! :)
ROOT BEER FLOATS! Yum!
The sock hop was really fun! We danced, danced, danced! :)
Finishing up some of our packet. If you could have fifty of something, what would it be?
I'm really looking forward to seeing what the next 50 days bring!
As they would say in the 50's, I've got to split! :)
Until next time,
