Veterinarians!

Hello!  Well, the last week of the quarter is upon us!  Again, I must state how crazy it feels that time has gone by so quickly.  We are done with the alphabet, now it will just be reinforced daily.  Please help your child with letters and sounds as we will start guided reading in late October. :)  In math we are working on identifying, counting, and comparing numbers 1-20.  We have spent the last week working on Nursery Rhymes.  We have learned Baa Baa Black Sheep, Mary had a Little Lamb, Jack be Nimble, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.  Next week we will be focusing on Jack and Jill, Hickory Dickory Dock, Little Miss Muffat, and Humpty Dumpty. There are been a ton of amazing activities your child has been doing revolving around the rhymes, but I have been busy doing quarterly assessments so my pictures are lacking. :(  I do, however, have some pictures of some other things we have been doing recently.  Enjoy!

Playing letter board games. :)

Writing the room...

M&M sort and counting... yum!

On "V" day we did had a Veterinarian Prop Box and the students pretended to be Vets.  It was SOOO CUTE!!! I think we have some future doctors in the making!

We also made Veterinarians and talked about what we would do if we were veterinarians. :)

Until next time,
